Making Grey Goose Inspired Tabletop Decorations

I needed a unique way to bring in the blue color that is found in the Grey Goose advertisements for a friends Birthday party.  So Stephanie (his wife) and I took a trip to the dollar store and found these glass candle stick holders and glass containers.  I saw on Pintrest how to make these, so I had an idea of how I wanted them to look.

Supplies you will need:  E6000 glue, glass bowl, glass candle stick

THAT’S ALL you  will need for first phase!  For less than $5 you will have a beautiful container.

STEP 1
Clean both the candlestick and glass bowl with alcohol and let dry.  Take the E6000 glue and line the top of the glass candlestick holder

STEP 2
Turn the glass bowl upside down and center the top of the glued candlestick to the bottom of the glass bowl.

STEP 3
Let dry overnight.

You can stop at this step and have stunning results, however i wanted to bring in more blue.

STEP 4
Take a generous amount of glue (I am still using E6000) and cover a small section of the candle stick.  Then sprinkle glass beads into the glue and press into place.  I used blue seed beads and blue glass vase filler beads to add texture.  I added silver crystals sparingly around the candlestick.

After the beads dried, I painted the bottom of the bowl with blue glass paint.  Then I applied a coat of mod podge and sprinkled epsom salt and clear glitter on top.  the container shown on the bottom left was painted first with the blue glass paint and then covered in the epson salt and mod podge mixture.  At the very bottom of the picture you can see the tea light holders that were made to match.  The more blue, the better!
I didn’t finish here, but I have run out of time.  I will return later with more pictures of the festive blue decor for a party tailor made for the Man with an over-the-top personality.
